Over 100 concerned citizens attended to listen to an expert panel discuss: What’s hype and what’s reality; How the recent bed bug plague is affecting city life and culture, and what to do to keep bed bugs out of your apartment. Panel (seated at the table) are from left to right: Dr. Amy Fairchild of Columbia Public Health School (Moderator); Councilwoman Gail Brewer and member of NYC’s Bed Bug Advisory Board; David Cain of Bed Bugs, Ltd, UK; Renee Correa, Founder of New York vs Bed Bugs and member of NYC’s Bed Bug Advisory Board; Yasmine Hecker, Founder and CEO of Prep 4 Bed Bugs, LLC and Louis Sorkin, Entomologist of the New York Entomological Society.
